Getting to your hotels from Chitose(Sapporo) Airport.

1. By Train

1) From Chitose Airport Station to Minami Chitose Station(next stop) first , you can get a discounted round trip ticket for 3,260 Yen valid for six days at the chitose airport station.

2) It takes about five min. to Minami Chitose Station.

3) Change to the express train bound for Muroran/Hakodate at the Minami Chitose Station.

4.1) To Hotel New Budget, Hotel Sun Route and Green Hotel, get off at the Higashi Muroran Station. Take west exit. It takes 5-7 min. on foot. to Hotel Sun Route and Green Hotel, down town Muroran. Cab services are available.

4.2) To Prince Hotel,
a) If you take the express train bound for Muroran, get off at the Muroran Station.
b) If you get on the express train bound for Hakodate, get off at the Higashi Muroran Station and change to the train bound for Muroran. And get off at the Muroran Station. Take a cab to Prince Hotel.

2. By Bus

1) Get a discounted round trip bus ticket at the Donan Bus counter(2,700 Yen) , Chitose Airport.

2) Take an express bus operated by Donan Bus Co. bound for Muroran.

3.1) To Hotel New Budget, Hotel Sun Route and Green Hotel, get off at the Higashi Muroran Bus Terminal.

3.2) To Prince Hotel, get off at the Muroran Bus Terminal.

4) Take a cab to the Hotel.

Visa Applications

Letters of invitation for applying a visa to Japan of ACCEPTED PAPERS will be issued by WSTST Organizers. In case you need such a letter, write an email to General Co Chair, Professor Yasuhiko Dote(email: dote@csse.muroran-it.ac.jp), with subject: WSTST’05 Travel VISA Application and include the following information(essential):

1. Complete name, including title, and affiliation

2. Address, where the letter should be sent to (Possibly including a fax number)

3. Nationality of applicant, passport number, date and place of the passport

4. Title of the paper, its authors and the paper-id (invited session name)

If some of the information is missing, we are not able to provide a supporting letter, so please be careful of providing complete information.
